About Friends of the Venerable Bede

We were formed by a small but dedicated band of parents when the school opened in 2003

Since then we have increased in numbers, and hope to continue to do so!

Our aims are to provide the extras for the benefit of all of the pupils in the school that the school budget doesn't allow for.

At present we are working towards providing funding for equipment required to run the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme, and also have provided the funding towards an electronic drum system, girls football team kit, and artwork resources. We continue to raise funds for the students of the school, while having fun!
If you would like to join us for any event or meeting, just come along and we will make you more than welcome!
